the wonder of ebay
i heard a story on the radio. it was kinda crazy. this women from chicago was looking around ebay and she saw this shack for bid in saginaw, michigan.
most people probably would have scrolled right on by it. but she didn’t. she made a bid of $1.75. you know what happen next? she got it. that’s right. her bid was the highest of eight. now she says she is going to sell it for profit. which wouldn’t be that hard. i mean… you could sell it for $25 and take you and a friend to the movies and taco bell.
maybe i should visit ebay.
new respect
i’ve never listened to the jonas brothers. it wasn’t that i hated them or anything. i just never really cared. but then i read where they were “attacked” at the mtv video music awards. the host, russell brand, made a comment about their purity rings. I don’t know the exact comment, but he was pretty much making fun of them for staying pure.
how did the jonas brothers feel about the comment?
Nick Jonas told Newsbeat: “For us it’s cool to see that he recognizes we are gentlemen.”
i love it! they don’t care what people think, and they are actually proud that he recongnized what they are about. anyone who isn’t afraid to go againist the majority gets my respect.
