the wonder of ebay
i heard a story on the radio. it was kinda crazy. this women from chicago was looking around ebay and she saw this shack for bid in saginaw, michigan.
most people probably would have scrolled right on by it. but she didn’t. she made a bid of $1.75. you know what happen next? she got it. that’s right. her bid was the highest of eight. now she says she is going to sell it for profit. which wouldn’t be that hard. i mean… you could sell it for $25 and take you and a friend to the movies and taco bell.
maybe i should visit ebay.

josh and i have some gigs lined up. that’s right… we are djs. well really not me…more josh. he does all the work i just sit there and look pretty and hold the table up and beat the kids off. (totally kidding with the last one) ANYWAYS…we did it last friday and it was rough. we had no idea what the kids are listening to now days. but we got some pointers and i think we (well josh) will be way more awesome this time.
not to mention that josh picked up some lightingish type stuff.
but the fun part is getting to hang out with the comanche high school kids. they aren’t half bad. and of course we make the game for a little bit too before we have to go on with our dj-ing duties.
okay. so go to the game. root on the team. and we’ll see you after. we’ll be the ones behind the table.
“busy bee” cab
so i’m driving to school today (cameron) and i come to a stoplight. i noticed a “busy bee” cab in front of me. which is weird. you don’t see a lot of cabs in oklahoma, or at least i don’t. anyway, i’m checking the thing out and i notice the logo on the bumper of it is crooked. if you are going to have a logo on the back of a car as advertisement it should be straight. but THEN i realized what it said: “your destination is our dedication” how appropriate for a cab company, right?! plus it is kinda catchy with the repeating “tion” sounds. then it REALLY hit me… what a perfect motto for a church or christ followers in general!!! shouldn’t we be totally commited to making sure that as many people as possible have a fantastic final “destination” ? of course. can’t you see it?
